IKEA Bergen
Ikea wanted to create a large glass showcase as display to provide passers-by the opportunity of getting a glimpse of the furniture in the showroom. This showcase needed to be transparent and was not allowed to reflect anything. That is why we used special anti-reflecting glass (also used for museum displays). We developed special glass clamps to fit this type of glass because one may not drill holes in it. We are truly proud that we succeeded in developing a support structure that is suited to anti-reflective glass, which Guardian (anti-reflective glass manufacturer) also used as a reference project.
